What will you be doing?

As a Product Owner, it is up to you to create the connection between our technology and customers. You keep our focus on the right products and services to meet the needs of our customers and in order to help 30MHz grow. You help develop our product propositions and roadmap, and translate them into product definitions, feature breakdowns and user stories for the Engineering team to build applications. You prioritize the items on the product backlog, assign actions to the teams involved, and keep track of and report on progress. You will lead discovery activities to further evolve our applications in order to meet the customer needs or to leverage new steps/technologies that will improve the application to deliver a better business and user outcome.

In this role you will be part of the Product and Marketing team.

Responsibilities

• Providing product vision and direction to the Engineering team and stakeholders and creating the right priorities and requirements for product development.
• Co-developing product propositions together with our Head of Product and Marketing, researching and analyzing our market, customers and users.
• Ensuring we focus on products and features that deliver maximum value and are aligned with 30MHz’s growth and product strategy.
• Developing and managing our product development planning and product feature backlog. Lead, keep track of and report on the planning for product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities.
• Provide product backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories in Asana.
• Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
• Continuously reviewing and defining the product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities by monitoring customer/user feedback and metrics from our data platform. Presenting recommendations and proposed steps to the Management Team.

About you

For this position it is important that you have the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Enthusiastic, self-starter who works in a pro-active manner and provides solutions.
• A Bachelors or Masters degree or/of a working and thinking bachelors or master level obtained through experience.
• Excellent project management skills;
• Great communication, presentation and leadership skills;
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Attention to details;
• Knowledge of the Agile process and principles;
• Good English, spoken and written.

It is nice if you have:

• Have experience in Horticulture or Agriculture or affinity with this sector.
• Are used to working in multidisciplinary teams and with Engineering teams.
